Data Engineer (Remote)

On behalf of our client, an innovative startup consulting company in the fast-growing pharmaceutical, banking, and luxury industry, we are currently looking for a self-driven Data Engineer, to join the team in Athens, Greece (fully remote).

Your day-to-day

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes
• Implement and optimize data storage solutions on cloud platforms (AWS)
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deploy machine learning models and enable advanced analytics
• Create interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and cloud computing

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in a consultancy or client-facing role
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders effectively
