Requirements

Your Skills

  • 4+ years as a Data Engineer (Semi Sr/Sr).
  • Deep experience in at least two database engines, preferably MySQL, Snowflake, or Athena.
  • Knowledge of Metadata-driven and database-centric concepts.
  • Proficiency in ETL and ETL tools, including Airflow and DBT.
  • Familiarity with data ingestion tools, such as Kafka and Singer.
  • Experience with at least one visualization tool, preferably Looker, Tableau, or Periscope.
  • At least one programming language knowledge, preferably Python.
  • Experience with APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructure, particularly AWS.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • English proficiency.

How You’ll Stand Out

  • Experience with big data tools and engines like Glue, DMS, and/or Redshift.
  • Knowledge of architecture and enterprise data architecture.

The Screening Process

  1. Verification by the BEON team.
  2. 30-minute cultural interview with the Hiring Manager.
  3. 1 and a half-hour technical with the Data team members.
  4. 30-minute final interview.

Total expected timeframe = 7-10 days.
