Scope of the Role 

As a B2B Content Marketing Assistant & Analyst, you will fulfill two primary functions within our digital marketing team. Firstly, as an Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing analytics and providing insights into our content marketing efforts, both organic and paid. Secondly, as a B2B Content Marketing Research Assistant, you will support in researching and outlining content strategies for our diverse clientele, primarily consisting of B2B companies in Texas.

Duties and responsibilities:

Analyst:

  • Assist our team in reporting, analysis, and deriving insights from various data sources.
  • Proficiency in Google data properties, including Google Analytics (GA4) & Search Console, and Facebook Ads Manager and Insights.
  • Ability to set up and troubleshoot tracking for events in Facebook and GA4.
  • Knowledge of Paid Ads, Local and Organic search, and associated growth strategies.
  • Excellent writing skills to effectively report on data and produce insights regarding website traffic and content strategies.

Assistant:

  • Support in content marketing strategy development and research for our B2B clientele.
  • Engage in content topic creation through client requests, competitor research, and identifying search opportunities.
  • Create detailed content outlines, defining audience, objectives, and structuring content for maximum impact.
  • Conduct keyword research to optimize content for search traffic and ensure alignment with audience intent.
  • Collaborate with the writing team to brief and QA copy, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Manage client feedback and edits until final content approval, coordinating with design and development teams for implementation.
  • Update internal links and maintain content plan spreadsheet to track content status and upcoming projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital marketing analytics and content strategy, preferably in a B2B context.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, and Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience in keyword research.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convey insights and strategies effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate collaboration with a diverse, remote team across different time zones.
