The Role
As a Content Marketing Executive at Much Better Adventures, you will be at the heart of our marketing team, working alongside our Content Manager to make our adventures, website and communications shine. We are looking to supercharge our growth and performance across multiple channels, which is where you come in.
Each day you’ll be…
- Producing copy that will inform, entertain and excite our customers about our new and existing adventures
- Merchandising, copywriting and visually optimising web pages at every stage of the funnel
- Writing and implementing search-optimised on-page copy and meta-data (as directed by our SEO Manager)
- Crafting and sending out engaging newsletters that keep our subscribers informed and excited about our brand
- Ensuring consistency in our brand’s tone of voice across all content and platforms
- Creating content and posting on our social media channels to fuel reach, engagement and conversions
- Analysing content performance across all platforms, using insights to optimise future content and strategies
- Supporting the team with ad hoc marketing campaigns and optimisation projects
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in content, social media and/or community management at an agency or brand
- A social media native, with a proven understanding of social trends and what content drives engagement and conversion across multiple channels
- A natural storyteller with a passion for adventure and the ability to convey excitement and enthusiasm through content
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a knack for adapting tone and style to match brand voice and target audience
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Good analytical skills and experience with SEO best practices and content optimisation
- Familiarity with content management systems and marketing tools such as Contentful, Hubspot, Ahrefs and Canva
- Full of ideas with bags of confidence and proven results
- Creative, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills and techniques
- A passion for adventure and the outdoors
- We’re a bunch of team-players, so it’s important you’re happy getting involved in tasks (big or small) outside your remit when required.
- Nice to have: Good design skills and an eye for compelling visuals

- Salary: £25,000 – £27,000
- Remote: If you see ‘London’ this is just where we are registered, but not where we are based. You can be based anywhere you like within the UK.
