PensionBee is growing at scale and we need a Content Manager to help us create and deliver engaging content through our website, app, video and podcast channels.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to be involved in the production and distribution of PensionBee content including blogs, newsletters, in-app content, videos and podcasts. Working with our Head of Content Marketing, you’ll be seeing content projects through from start to finish including creating engaging copy for blogs and scripts, working with third parties to produce multimedia content and distributing your work across various platforms.
Key objectives
Helping both the Content Team and wider Marketing Team to achieve their key performance goals e.g. the number of podcast downloads and the number of customers viewing content in the app.
Key responsibilities
- Developing ideas for new editorial content and then bringing them to life on our blog, Pensions Explained content hub and in the PensionBee app.
- Researching, script writing and supporting the production of our award-winning podcast series – The Pension Confident Podcast.
- Creating copy in the app or through customer newsletters with our key audience segments in mind e.g. the self-employed.
- Supporting the Social Media Team with video script writing for YouTube and TikTok.
- Supporting the production of our monthly market performance content including writing copy for our blog, newsletters and social media videos.
- Working closely with third parties such as our podcast host, producer and video production teams.
- Acting as a custodian of our Tone of Voice and following our quality assurance process.
- Managing the uploading of content to the PensionBee website via GitHub.
- Supporting the Content Team on internal copy requests as and when they arise.
- Monthly performance reporting against content KPIs.
Requirements
The key skills required are:
● Clear written and spoken English.
● Content project management and experience working with third parties and external stakeholders is essential.
● Exceptional attention to detail.
● Experience with content marketing and copywriting.
● Experience working on financial brands.
● Enthusiasm to create multiformat content such as podcasts and videos.
● Experience using content and email management systems.
● A good understanding of how content works on websites, in apps, and across YouTube and social media platforms.
● An interest in learning HTML and SEO best practice.
● A passion for creating content and spreading the PensionBee story.
