Compliance Specialist (Pooling)
The Back Room Offshoring Inc., a leading company in the accounting industry, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our adherence to regulatory and legal requirements to one of New Zealand Clients. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance issues and make recommendations for improvement
- Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and ensure the company’s policies align with the latest requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of compliance and provide guidance and training on compliance matters
- Investigate any reported compliance violations and recommend necessary actions to resolve the issues
- Manage compliance documentation, including filing and record keeping
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs and initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Proven work experience as a Compliance Specialist or similar role with New Zealand clients.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Familiarity with compliance software and tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse stakeholders
Detail-oriented and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
