One of our companies is currently looking for a Cloud Engineer in Portugal.
In this role, you will design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions while ensuring a seamless DevSecOps framework. You will act as a key enabler between development, QA, and operations teams to ensure efficient, secure, and continuous delivery of applications. This includes automating CI/CD pipelines, managing scalable cloud infrastructure, and ensuring cloud-agnostic design for multi-cloud and on-premise interoperability. As a Cloud Engineer, you will also focus on automating tasks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and custom scripts while maintaining cloud security practices aligned with compliance policies.
Accountabilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, primarily in Azure
- Automate provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud environments using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and custom scripts
- Ensure efficient, secure, and continuous delivery by automating CI/CD pipelines for testing, integration, and deployment
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes and maintain security standards
- Implement cloud security practices aligned with compliance requirements
- Produce and maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation for the infrastructure and processes
- Provide on-call support and participate in out-of-hours support as necessary
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in system support and incident resolution across infrastructure, environments, and applications
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with CI/CD, particularly using Jenkins
- Proficiency in deploying and managing production environments
- Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management
- Expertise in containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with SOA and microservice-based architecture
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with JavaScript MVC frameworks (Node.js, React.js)
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates
- Proactive and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
- Availability for on-call and out-of-hours support
