Cloud Backend Software Tech Leader

We are seeking a proactive Cloud Backend Software Tech Leader to spearhead the development and integration of advanced features for Application Load Balancers using Service Extensions. This role, akin to a Master Developer or Software Architect, requires someone with exceptional technical prowess and leadership skills.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the team members, acting as the primary technical liaison with the client. Lead daily development activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  2. Innovative Development: Develop compelling demos and use cases that demonstrate the seamless integration of Service Extensions with GCP’s AI capabilities. Contribute to both open source and customer-specific projects, leveraging deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform.
  3. Feature Design and Implementation: Design and implement new features using Service Extensions for Application Load Balancers. Document these features comprehensively to facilitate understanding and adoption by the team and clients.

Background, Skills, and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Java and Python Development: Solid experience in both languages is essential for this role.
  • Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Demonstrable experience with GCP services or similar cloud platforms is crucial.
  • Effective Communication: Fluency in English (CEFR B2) is required for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Problem-solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with the ability to work independently and tackle complex challenges.
  • Quick Learner: Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies is essential, as the role may involve working with diverse tech stacks.

Additional Experiences:

  • Knowledge of Other Languages: Experience with languages like Go is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • GCP Certifications: Holding GCP certifications would be advantageous.
