Chief Operating Officer (Ethiopia)
We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to oversee the construction and maintenance of mining data centers. Your role will be to establish effective collaboration with local contractors, government authorities, and suppliers, as well as ensure the seamless operation of all business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Organizing the back office (documentation, accounting, legal matters).
- Establishing cooperation with government authorities, banks, and other institutions.
- Managing logistics and supply chains, including material deliveries and employee catering.
- Overseeing construction processes and site operations.
- Recruiting and coordinating domestic staff.
- Ensuring the availability of temporary workers as needed.
- Handling documentation and reporting.
- Managing organizational aspects, including security, transportation, and living conditions.
Requirements
- Experience working in Africa and the CIS region (understanding local specifics).
- Ability to navigate bureaucracy and handle complex organizational challenges.
- Fluent in English and Russian.
- Practical mindset, focused on results and efficiency rather than excessive creativity.
- Willingness to work with documentation, interact with government bodies, and conduct negotiations.
