California Licenced Professional Clinical Counselor
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, professional psychotherapist/counselor with California licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor to provide CBT-based therapy via telehealth to military personnel, family members and vets. Candidates must have passed NCMHCE clinical exam. Sessions typically last approximately 60 minutes, including standard documentation. This position is part-time and fully remote, but can grow into full-time if you like. We expect high demand as the unmet need in this population is so great. Available hours are flexible between 8-5 Pacific Time, M-F, but after hours or Saturdays are possible with experience.
Requirements
Our most important requirement is for a compassionate therapist that cares for patients undergoing difficult life circumstances. Military life can be stressful and both active duty and veteran populations show increased levels of depression, anxiety, PTSD and other mental health disorders. You must have a California license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and have passed the NCMHCE Clinical Exam. You must be experienced and comfortable with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Ability to work with children and adolescents is a plus. Standard technical/computer skills required. But no need to be a “techie”. We provide tech support and orientation to our EMR, AthenaOne. Ability to treat patients in Spanish is a plus, but not a necessity.
Benefits
Competitive compensation. Flexible hours. Work from home/remote but fully supported. Potential for equity participation in a dynamic and fast growing multi-state practice. Highly collaborative organization that treats you like family. Excellent potential for professional development and financial growth. And a chance to help a population in need, those that serve.
