Business Development Representative Team Lead

We are looking for a passionate and experienced BDR Team Lead to help lead and mentor our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in driving growth for our SaaS business in the food and beverage industry. As a BDR Team Lead, you will be responsible for setting goals, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the team meets its targets. This is a key leadership role where you’ll be guiding the team, developing outreach strategies, and supporting the overall sales pipeline.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of BDRs, providing coaching and support to help them succeed.
  • Develop and implement effective outbound and inbound sales strategies to generate qualified leads.
  • Set performance goals, monitor key metrics, and ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds targets.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to improve prospecting and outreach techniques.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and increase conversion rates.
  • Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track, analyze, and report on team performance.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process optimizations to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide regular updates on team performance, offering actionable insights to senior management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in business development or sales
  • 2+ years in BDR/sales team leadership or coaching
  • BDR experience required; food & beverage industry preferred
  • Culinary background is a plus
  • Fluent in English (C+ level or native)
  • Skilled in cold calling, email marketing, and social selling
  • Strong in problem-solving, analysis, and organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Resilient, persistent, and well-organized
  • Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Based in Cancún, Mexico
