Business Developer (ID)

12Go is the leading multimodal OTA in the industry, founded in 2012 and offering train, flight, bus, ferry tickets, transfers,  and other travel products on its 2 domains: 12go.asia and 12go.com. We are working in 70+ countries, and our service has been used by millions of travelers worldwide. We are looking for 2 positions of Business Developer for Indonesia, based in Mainland Jakarta and Bali.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or data analysis
  • Online travel background (GDS, OTA, Meta Searches, bus/ferry companies, TMS etc.) 
  • Strategic business-oriented thinking based on data
  • Our tech stack: Asana, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Analytics, Google Docs. Previous experience would be a plus
  • Ability to make things happen and proactivity: close the agreements, find growth points, find solutions to increase sales and more
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal, Chinese Speaking would be a plus but not required
  • Good understanding of competitors and the market of travel and ground transportation in Indonesia would be a plus
  • Ability to travel within the region
  • Previous remote work experience would be a plus
  • Travel experience in Indonesia region would be a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships, mainly with the Indonesia operators
  • Update rates and schedules of Indonesia operators
  • Assist with Finance on reconciliation balances/invoices, check on remaining deposits, and assist with sales estimation during peak season
  • Work closely with the Marketing team for TBahasa and/or Balinese Keywords targeting local customers
  • Find new local operators, find new deals, and try to maximize profit for the company from current operators
  • Other duties as assigned
