Backend Developer – Salesforce

The Backend Developer for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B Lightning Web Runtime) is responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining robust server-side functionality for B2B e-commerce solutions. This role focuses on developing e-commerce-style functionality that is surfaced through LWR in collaboration with frontend developers.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

      •     Develop and maintain e-commerce functionality for Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B LWR projects.

      •     Implement API integrations with third-party systems such as PIMs, CRMs, and ERPs.

      •     Optimize server-side logic for performance, reliability, and scalability.

      •     Collaborate closely with front-end developers to support seamless functionality of Lightning Web Components (LWC).

      •     Manage customizations within the Salesforce platform while adhering to best practices.

      •     Ensure robust data management, security, and compliance.

      •     Apply strong knowledge of Git and DevOps practices.

Key Skills & Qualifications

      •     Strong expertise in Salesforce Apex programming.

      •     Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), with a focus on B2B architecture and Lightning Web Runtime.

      •     Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, data integration, and middleware solutions.

      •     Familiarity with Salesforce DX and CI/CD processes.

      •     Understanding of database design and management, particularly Salesforce object structures.

      •     Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience

      •     3–5 years of hands-on experience in backend development for Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar platforms.

      •     Demonstrated experience in B2B e-commerce environments.

Soft Skills

      •     Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

      •     Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in an agile development environment.
