This full-time entry-level position will be performing property due diligence using Google, Municipal Websites, and other online resources. Once the research is complete, you will compile reports and send this information to our respective clients. This is a vital part of any real estate closing, and we need detail-oriented people with strong computer skills to help secure a clear closing for our clients! Current employees would describe this role as fulfilling due to your part in helping someone through one of the biggest purchases of their lives.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (until November 2024, this will be 7:30am start time locally).
  • Type of Work: 100% onsite for training then after successful completion of training, this is a fully remote position

Essential Functions

  • Ensure that projects comply with state requirements
  • Contact municipal government to validate construction permits
  • Assist in the processing of permits in the USA, and their requirements
  • Other duties, as assigned

Starting Pay Rate: 2,000,000 COP per month plus full benefits and opportunities for monthly bonuses

Training Location: El Poblado, Medellin 050022, Colombia then Remote

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Experience in Real Estate or construction in the USA
  • Advanced level of English reading and writing (B2/C1)
  • Proactivity, responsibility, and attention to detail, with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work during Colombian holidays to match US schedule (surcharge would apply)
  • Distraction-free work environment for home
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening prior to any offer of employment

Our hiring process will consist of an initial virtual interview to learn more about you and tell you about us. If we are both still interested, there will be a technical assessment that also gives you a glimpse into what the work is like. If you cannot complete the assessment from a home computer, you will be able to do it on location at our office. If you pass the technical assessment, there will be an in-person interview. If we are both still interested, you will go for a background check and drug screening. After all steps are successfully completed, we will extend an offer for employment.
