Automotive Cyber Security (open to Lead/Manager/Senior levels)

We are looking to fill three Automotive Cyber Security Engineers posts at various levels of Team Leader, a Manager and a Senior Manager. We are open to this role being fully remote from anywhere in the UK. We have a head office in Leamington Spa, so the occasional visit to HQ will be required.

Tasks that will support your personal growth:

  • Management of, responsibility for and ensuring compliance with the security life cycle (cybersecurity) in accordance with ISO / SAE 21434.
  • Assisting departments with the development of ECU software, e.g. for autonomous driving / eMobility, throughout the security lifecycle.
  • Analysis and specification of security requirements for automotive embedded systems.
  • Creation and implementation of security concepts and security analyses (TARA, MORA, FTA, FMEA)
  • Communicating with, advising, and supporting our customers and internal development teams

Requirements

Your skills that will help us to get ahead:

  • A degree in information security, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent qualification, also cryptography skills and an understanding of cybersecurity tasks.
  • Experience in the field of software development, also practical experience in the implementation of security concepts would be desirable.
  • Understanding of security mechanisms, cryptography (encryption techniques) and authentication mechanisms
  • Independent, structured way of working, high quality awareness as well as good understanding of technically complex contexts
  • Good communication skills, fluent in English (written and spoken). German knowledge is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of ISO 21434 and regulations UNECE R155 & R156.4.
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Experience working in the Automotive Industry in a similar role
  • Understanding of security and authentication mechanisms and encryption techniques is advantageous.
