Associate, New Venture Creation in Curative Therapeutics
The role
At DSV, we deal in solving constraints which hold back meaningful innovation. This applies to our hiring strategy too. Requiring candidates to have vast venture capital experience can impede the recruitment of brilliant minds. To overcome this constraint, we look beyond bulky CVs. Instead, we place greater emphasis on first principles thinking- the ability to solve diverse therapeutic challenges through logical reasoning, informed by a systems-level understanding of cellular and molecular biology. We believe intellectual curiosity, creativity and problem-solving acumen are the key traits required for venture building. If you have this, along with a genuine interest in entrepreneurship and outcomes-driven impact, it is likely your mind-set resonates deeply with ours.
Do you have an outstanding scientific background at PhD level or beyond? Have you demonstrated the ability to solve complex biological challenges, driving scientific innovation? DSV could be the right next step for you. Help us drive transformative advancements in biotech and apply today.
Our work in Pharma:
We work across a broad range of opportunity areas (OAs) including immune-mediated inflammatory disease (IMID), monogenic diseases, stem cell therapies, neurodegeneration, oncology and cardiovascular health. We continue to line up exciting new opportunities for venture creation. A list of our portfolio companies can be found here.
