Associate Director(Remote within Spain)

How will you make a difference
- Help develop a clear product vision and a long-term product strategy identifying key features and potential enhancements.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay abreast of market trends and needs.
- Define product success metrics and track gateway performance, using data to make informed decisions.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure technical integrity and scalability of the gateway.
- Proven record of implementing Projects in IT (cards, banking and payments)
- Supervise and lead cross-functional teams dedicated to development, integration, and support of the payment gateway.
- Utilize data and analysis to identify areas of opportunity and develop strategies to improve gateway performance.
- Present reports and analysis to senior management and other stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive adoption and usage of the payment gateway and be involved with marketing strategies to develop marketing campaigns and materials to promote the gateway.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting strategies as needed. Identify target markets and segments, and develop strategies to effectively reach and engage them.
- Supervise operations, sales, compliance and security teams to align the gateway strategy with overall business objectives
- Collaborate in a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Explore data to find actionable insights and make product recommendations through funnels, cohort analyses, long-term trends, user segmentation, regression models, and more.
- Use BI tools to analyze data and to create valuable reports.
- Synthesize and communicate insights during the product development process.
- Empower and guide others to work effectively and efficiently with data
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in start-ups and big companies managing the supervision of the project and focus on the commercial strategy and product development.
- Deep understanding of online payment systems, including knowledge of payment protocols and security standards.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and leading product development cycles.
- Ability to think strategically and translate market trends and customer needs into innovative product solutions.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.
- Exceptional analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
- Knowledge of analytics platforms and ability to utilize the data/tools to guide decision making.
- Outstanding organizational and planning skills with high attention to detail
- Very good prioritization skills and ability to effectively and efficiently handle multiple tasks
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Technology passionate. Used to working with IT Teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem solver and results-driven, with a can-do attitude.
- Advanced level of English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
