About The Role

We’re in search of an exceptional AI Engineer with expertise in emerging technologies, particularly large language models (LLMs) such as GPT, LLAMA, BERT, and transformer-based architectures. Your primary responsibility will involve fine-tuning and optimizing these models for our AI wealth technology platform, ensuring seamless integration with our systems to enhance user experiences. This role demands a blend of technical excellence, innovative thinking, and leadership skills, making it ideal for those passionate about applying AI in consumer fintech.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive AI roadmap aligned with GoodFin’s strategic objectives.
  • Lead the technical design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and maintenance of end-to-end AI features.
  • Innovate in data management, strategically utilizing embeddings to enhance vector search relevancy.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and business teams to integrate AI technologies across applications.
  • Stay updated on the latest AI trends, including advanced prompting techniques, AI agent construction, and in-context learning workflows.
  • Propose groundbreaking ideas for future AI initiatives and technology integration.
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, agility, and innovation within the team, contributing to strategic planning and technological direction.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related fields, focusing on deep learning, neural networks, and generative AI.
  • 5-7 years of experience in AI/ML, with specific expertise in developing, fine-tuning, and optimizing large language models and transformer-based architectures.
  • Proficient in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and in-context learning workflows, including data preprocessing, embedding, prompt construction, and execution.
  • Demonstrated experience in API integration and AI agent development, with the ability to test and design AI performance and reliability measures.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages, coupled with a solid grasp of software engineering best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively conveying complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
