Actuarial Expert for a Top Ten Insurance Carrier

Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.

This role involves assisting with various actuarial tasks, including monthly Actual vs Expected Analysis, IBNR booking, and quarterly reserve reviews. The actuarial analyst will also be responsible for data reconciliation, conducting ad hoc deep dive analyses, and automating or enhancing internal processes. Additionally, this role includes contributing to both external and internal reporting efforts to support accurate and timely financial assessments.

Requirements

Total Work Experience

  • Minimum Required: 1-3 years

  • Insurance knowledge required for first round

English Proficiency

  • Minimum Required: Intermediate
  • Preferred: Fluent

Required Education

  • Minimum Required: Some College Degree
  • Actuarial Science degree preferred

Technical Skills: (proficiency will be tested during interview process)

  • SQL required
  • R programming or Phyton a plus
  • SAS a plus

  • Advanced Communication skills required
  • Presentation skills: intermediate

Software / Tool Skills:

  • Python: Entry Level (1-3 Years)

Work Schedule: PST overlap required (minimum 6 hours to start)
