JOB OVERVIEW:

The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing our accounting operations, focusing on complex financial accounting work, and providing expert guidance to the accounting staff. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with robust knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles who thrives in a supportive and consultative role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance and support to the accounting staff in their day-to-day functions and complex accounting issues.
• Oversee the accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial processes.
• Prepare and review detailed financial statements in compliance with official standards and requirements.
• Lead the development and implementation of rigorous financial analyses and reporting.
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance financial documentation and data integrity.
• Participate in the coordination and support of audit activities.
• Ensure adherence to financial laws and regulatory compliance.
• Recommend and help implement improvements to financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Serve as a key advisor on financial matters to senior management, providing strategic insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• A Certified Public Accountant is required
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or finance roles, with 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• In-depth understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Knowledgeable in using the following accounting softwares: ACUMATICA and FLOQAST
• Preferably has experience working in the Agricultural and Manufacturing Industry. 
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Experience in a remote work environment or demonstrated ability to thrive in a virtual setting is a plus
