We are looking to hire a motivated Account Executive who thrives outside the confines of big tech, honing your skills in environments that demand innovation and adaptability to meet quotas. Your background in Ecomm/Digital Marketing/AdTech SaaS showcases your deep understanding of our industry, while your empathy and curiosity about helping merchants highlights your ability to connect with both team members and prospective clients on a profound level ranging from ecommerce manager to the C-Suite. You are comfortable leading strategic conversations with marketing managers up to the CFO and even private equity investors on the power of data with AI to transform their businesses and their careers.

This role is a full-time remote position with occasional in-person meetups and events.

Requirements

We are looking for a Account Executive  specifically with these requirements:

  • Has at least 3+ years of experience as a Senior Sales Development Representative or in a similar role.
  • Possesses a minimum of 3-5 years of software/SaaS sales experience.
  • Has at least 2+ years of experience working in a Marketing orAdTech or  Ecommerce B2B SaaS business.
  • Demonstrates proven success in selling annual software deals ranging from $10K to 30K, with month-over-month growth to achieve quota.
  • Possesses experience interacting with C-Suite and senior management teams.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, or Psychology. 

Nice to Haves:

  • Background in competitive activities such as sports, athletics, debating, or international chess.
  • Experience with side projects in the ecommerce or no-code/low-code space.
  • An MBA or MS in STEM.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Assist in building the system to actively source and qualify leads in the ecommerce sector with our existing sales & partnership team, targeting businesses with $5M – $50M in revenue – on top of platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, Klaviyo, and NetSuite with which we currently  enjoy deep relationships and co-marketing traction.
  • Outreach Strategy: Implement engaging outreach strategies that provide value first for prospects through various tools and expert experiences across the US while leveraging our involvement at some of the world’s leading business schools. 
    • This could include facilitating workshops, in-person events, and online communities around private equity, merchants, or marketing agencies.
  • Scaling Qualified Meetings: Aim to refine our system to schedule a minimum of 5 unique, high-quality meetings per week with qualified prospects with ideas and testing frameworks for how to get this to 8 per week.
  • Engaging Decision Makers: Proven skill in engaging internal stakeholders, identifying supporters or critics, and leading strategic data-driven discussions to drive business growth and secure a full-cycle SaaS deal.
  • Pipeline Management: Efficiently manage a full-funnel sales pipeline, utilizing our CRM tools for tracking and reporting to uncover insights for monthly compounding growth and clean reporting to leadership.
  • Innovation and Continuous Learning: Regularly contribute ideas based on our current customer aspirations and afflictions to help further cement your reputation as a trusted ecomm consultative partner and not just a sales rep reading from a script.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with solutions architects and cofounders to ensure closing your first deal.
  • Tech Proficiency: Demonstrate comfort with technology, basic sales analytics, and emerging trends in ecommerce while leveraging new tools for business development to hit and exceed quota goals.
