Position Overview:

As an Account Manager at Techy Scouts, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end website fulfillment process for our clients, from onboarding client materials and scoping out the pages and functionality of their websites, to delivery and quality assurance. Working closely with internal teams, including development, design, and SEO/digital marketing, you’ll ensure seamless project execution and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Onboarding and Project Management:
  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients, conducting discovery calls, defining project scopes, and setting clear expectations.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate website construction and delivery, including development sprints, design reviews, and QA testing.
    • Help identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance fulfillment efficiency across the organization.
  • Client Feedback and Training:
    • Gather feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement and drive product enhancements.
    • Help develop resources and materials for training new hires and cross-training existing staff on relevant skills and best practices.
  • Timely Customer Support:
    • Respond to clients’ service requests immediately, and properly set expectations for the cost and timeline for new projects or smaller service requests.  
  • Identify and Facilitate Growth Opportunities
    • Learn as much about our clients’ business as possible, and help to identify their business needs beyond Techy Scouts’ current offerings.
    • Identify up-sales and cross-sales opportunities, provide pricing and other details as needed and bring in sales support to close new service contracts. 

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, project/product management, computer science, graphic design, or a related field.
    • 1-2 years of experience in project management or account management, preferably in a digital agency or technology company.
    • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between clients and internal teams.
    • Experience with project management tools and IT ticketing systems is highly valuable.  Basecamp, HubSpot, Height, CMS platforms a major plus.
    • Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or headless websites is highly desirable
    • Design- working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Suite, Canva, and/or any design related programs
    • Testing/Fixing bugs- able to make edits using basic HTML or CSS
