For one of our clients, we are looking for an Account Executive – Hancock Software, remotely from the United States.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, building client relationships, and ensuring successful implementation of energy efficiency program management software solutions. You will identify and target potential utility clients, develop strategic sales plans, and collaborate with the marketing team to create effective campaigns. Your role will also involve negotiating contracts, presenting product demos, and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. This is a results-driven position, where your contributions directly impact company growth and the success of utility clients in achieving energy efficiency goals.

Accountabilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients in the utility sector who require energy efficiency program management solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets while expanding the customer base.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the software’s capabilities and value.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create effective sales materials and marketing campaigns.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage the sales pipeline to ensure revenue goals are met.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven success in complex, long-cycle technology sales, preferably in the energy efficiency or utilities industry.
  • A solid understanding of energy efficiency principles and utility processes is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong client relationship-building abilities, with a focus on long-term success and satisfaction.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working remotely and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
