03. SEO Specialist

About the Role

You’ll work directly with our Marketing Director and web development team to:

  • Audit and fix existing technical SEO issues.
  • Implement on-page and off-page optimizations.
  • Help define SEO best practices that align with business growth goals.
  • Work with a WordPress website setup.

This is a hands-on implementation role with a strong focus on execution.

Key Responsibilities

Technical SEO

  • Conduct full-site technical audit (crawlability, site speed, Core Web Vitals, indexation)
  • Resolve errors flagged in Google Search Console
  • Ensure proper schema markup, canonical tags, redirects, etc.
  • Optimize site structure, navigation, and internal linking

On-Page Optimization

  • Keyword mapping and implementation
  • Meta titles/descriptions, headers, and content optimization
  • Image optimization and accessibility compliance

Content SEO Support

  • Provide SEO recommendations for ongoing blog/content production
  • Advise on content clusters and keyword opportunities
  • Identify gaps and suggest new landing pages to target legal service niches

Link Building & Off-Page SEO

  • Develop white-hat backlink strategy
  • Reach out to legal directories, publications, partners for backlinks
  • Monitor and clean up toxic backlinks

Local & Niche SEO

  • Improve local search visibility (including GMB profile if needed)
  • Identify industry-specific SEO strategies (legal staffing, virtual legal services)

Reporting & Tools

  • Use GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMRush for monitoring
  • Provide clear weekly and monthly performance reports and action plans
  • Track keyword performance and rankings over time

Requirements

  • Ideal Candidate
  • Required:
    • 5+ years in a dedicated SEO role
    • Experience with WordPress
    • Strong technical SEO skills (HTML/CSS familiarity)
    • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality, documented work
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with legal tech or professional services marketing
    • Working knowledge of CRO and content funnel optimization
    • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager & cookie compliance best practices
    • Familiarity with legal, SaaS, or B2B service industries
