Project Manager + Estimator

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager + Estimator to join our team. This hybrid role requires someone who can confidently manage both project timelines and accurate cost estimation for construction and renovation projects. You’ll play a key role from pre-construction planning through execution, helping us deliver projects on time and within budget.

This is a full-time remote position, ideal for someone who is resourceful, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and client requirements to develop detailed cost estimates.
  • Identify all relevant cost factors: labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead.
  • Use estimating software (e.g. AutoDesk or similar) to prepare bids and proposals.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to clarify scope and ensure accurate pricing.
  • Review and compare supplier/subcontractor quotes for cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Manage and track budgets, timelines, and resource allocations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in value engineering and cost optimization strategies.
  • Lead project coordination, scheduling, and communication between teams.
  • Participate in bid review meetings and support the preparation of project documentation.
  • Monitor progress and update estimates as projects evolve.
  • Maintain a historical cost database and stay current with industry trends and pricing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, Project Manager, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
  • Experience using estimating tools (e.g. AutoDesk, Bluebeam, ProEst) — or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction documents.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
  • A detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. CPE) are a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a neutral or minimal accent are required
