One of our companies is currently looking for an Engineering Manager in the United States.

We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead one or more database engineering teams responsible for the development and maintenance of advanced PostgreSQL-based systems. In this role, you’ll foster a high-performing engineering culture, drive technical excellence, and ensure on-time delivery of robust and scalable database solutions. You will collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders, contribute to long-term technical strategy, and support team growth through mentorship and recruitment. This is a fully remote position available to candidates across the U.S.

Accountabilities:

Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams working on database technologies
Oversee planning, development, and release of complex product features
Collaborate with product management to align engineering goals with business priorities
Represent your team in internal forums and occasional customer discussions
Facilitate strong communication across cross-functional teams to ensure clarity and alignment
Support hiring and onboarding of engineers to expand technical capabilities
Champion engineering best practices and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in engineering management or senior technical leadership
Strong understanding of database internals, particularly PostgreSQL or similar systems
Proficiency in C/C++ and experience building or maintaining database-related products
Demonstrated success leading teams through the full software development lifecycle
Excellent communication and organizational skills with a business-outcome mindset
Ability to translate technical decisions into strategic impact for stakeholders
Bonus: Experience with TimescaleDB, PostgreSQL extensions, or open-source contributions
