Senior Financial Analyst / General Accountant – Fully Remote – Immediate
The Role
Account Tech are looking for an experienced financial analyst / general accountant to support a client with their management accounting and revenue analysis. The client is a multinational SAAS tech startup based in Sydney, Australia with offices globally in the UK, Dubai, Singapore and Japan. You will lead the team consisting of initially one other Account Tech team members and will work closely with the Finance Director of the client.
We are recruiting for a full-time permanent role, available to start immediately.
This role will be working from home so the candidate will need to have a suitable work station that is quiet and can facilitate a work environment. A quality internet connection is required and is reimbursable to the employee up to 3,000 pesos a month.
The hours of work for this role are Australian (Brisbane) office hours. For a Manila, PH candidate this means 6:30am to 3pm (with lunch break) Monday to Friday. We are able to offer a flexible hours working policy. The public holiday schedule will also be following the Australian Public Holidays which can be viewed here, www.publicholidays.com.au.

Account Tech is a growing accounting and bookkeeping firm based in Byron Bay, Australia. Account Tech provides cloud accounting departments for their Australian clients. The clients consist of a range of small and medium businesses in multiple industries including restaurants and hospitality, marketing agencies, software providers, product manufacturers and many others. Requirements
Candidate Requirements
- A degree in an accounting / finance / business related field
- 5+ years experience in an accounting or financial analyst role
- Revenue reporting / accounting experience
- A problem solving mindset able to think laterally and challenge existing processes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Xero experience is helpful but not necessary as Xero training can be given through the Xero advisor certification
- Excellent English ability (written and verbal)
- Ability to communicate well online and using telephone/skype
- Ability to work independently and to a time budget
- An independent contractor licence or ability to acquire (this is an Australian company so you cannot be hired as an employee)
Favourable Attributes/Experience
- Experience using software applications to automate tasks
- Previous experience working remotely
- Own IT equipment preferable
Benefits
As the company is an Australian company you will be employed as an independent contractor. You will receive payment to your bank account in Philippine Pesos from Account Tech.
Payment reviews are conducted on an annual basis.
The remuneration package is all inclusive and no additional health insurance or any other benefits (such as paid leave) will be provided.
