For one of our clients, we are looking for an Ecomm – Regional Account Manager, remotely from the United States.
As a Regional Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers within the e-commerce sector. You will focus on driving sales growth and market share expansion by implementing strategies for retail customers. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and ensuring the execution of regional strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. This position requires a deep understanding of e-commerce operations and the ability to manage key accounts effectively to enhance the customer experience and profitability.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with retailers, buyers, and key decision-makers within the assigned region.
- Work closely with the DSD sales team to optimize performance and meet sales goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Brand Teams and Marketing, to understand trends and consumer preferences and align account strategies with business objectives.
- Manage the trade and settlement process, ensuring all marketing and advertising commitments are effectively negotiated and executed.
- Drive the achievement of all key sales measures and contribute to the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Lead and coach a high-performing retail team, fostering a positive regional culture that drives results.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Retail Account Management or CPG sales, with a proven track record of success in a team environment.
- At least 2 years of management experience within the e-commerce sector, with prior Amazon experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to travel as needed (both via air and motor vehicle).
- Experience working with DSD models and familiarity with e-commerce operations, especially in the digital retail space.
