Senior Python Engineer

This is a remote position for Argentina and Brazil candidates only!

We are currently assembling a high-performance distributed team for a US-based company. The ideal candidates for this role are Senior backend engineers with strong experience writing microservices in Python. We also value, as nice to have, experience with AWS, DynamoDB, Lambda Services and Snowflake.

You will be responsible for making engineering design decisions and developing features pertaining to the services that are the backbone of the client’s platform. You will be expected to be a role model on coding standards, frameworks, and other best practices for the rest of our client’s engineering team.

Requirements

• Upper intermediate level of English skills.
• Expert in Python, with knowledge of Django web framework.
  Expertise in architecting and developing scalable software solutions with microservices.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
• Experience working with AWS
• Experience working with Docker

Nice to have:

• Experience working with gRPC based microservices.
• Working experience on Cassandra and caching solutions (e.g. Redis, ElastiCache), DynamoDB, Managed Services, Lambda services
