Forum and Community Moderator (For JAPANESE language)

Summary

We are seeking a Forum Moderator to join our team and help moderate and animate our client’s community on Discourse. The ideal candidate will have passion for our client’s products, a strong understanding of online communities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and moderate our client’s Community on Discourse

Respond to user questions and concerns in a timely and helpful manner.

Enforce the community guidelines and policies.

Identify and remove inappropriate content.

Promote positive and constructive discussions.

Help create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive community environment.

Work closely with our client to ensure that the community is aligned with their goals and values.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of online communities and their dynamics

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Passion for our clients’ products and services

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

Familiarity with Discourse or similar forum software

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

Native Level Japanese skills, Business Level English skills.

Basic PC skills (Excel, Word, Emails)

Interested in social media & gaming.

PHASES OF OUR RECRUITMENT JOURNEY:

Our language test will require typing, so we would encourage you to take it on a computer and make sure you have the keyboard in your language settings to facilitate its completion. Check your inbox to find the test invitation and keep your phone close!

3. If you successfully pass the test – we’ll invite you for the online Interview via MS Teams with one of our recruiters. It’s a perfect chance to exchange questions and get to know each other better. For some projects there might be a second interview with a Team Lead or an Operations Manager.

4. At the end of our journey – hopefully you will receive an offer and become our new Keywordian! Our recruitment process is fully online and remote. We value each application and review every candidate individually.
