Commercial Credit Analyst (AU)

What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Highly organized and able to assist brokers with client management.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with the financial and business environment in Australia
- Experience working in Commercial Lending for Australian based businesses
- Experience with remote work tools and platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
What will you do?
1. Credit Evaluation and Analysis:
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess the creditworthiness of businesses and individuals.
- Prepare detailed credit analysis reports, including financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and risk assessments.
2. Report Preparation:
- Develop comprehensive credit submission memos with recommendations for credit approval
- Present findings and recommendations to commercial brokers and management.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with commercial brokers to provide insights and support for credit applications
- Communicate effectively with clients and brokers to gather necessary information and clarify credit worthiness
4. Client Management Assistance:
- Assist commercial brokers with client management, primarily via email.
- Ensure timely follow-up on client inquiries and maintain organized records of client interactions.
5. Industry and Regulatory Awareness:
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit analysis and lending.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
6. Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of credit analyses and reports.
- Utilize financial modeling and data analysis tools to support credit evaluation processes.
