Group Product Manager – Crypto

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Group Product Manager – Crypto – candidates can be based anywhere except US.

Our Ecosystem is a complex landscape of partnerships, internally and externally built applications and infrastructure, and a wide variety of user groups. Your job will be to understand this ecosystem, its users groups and stakeholders, and to drive the Product Strategy for serving them. This is not an entry level position. It requires not only product sense, but also a keen eye for market forces and partner selection. Someone who succeeds in this role will likely have the skills to be a VP of Product or CPO at many organizations.

Working at Fuel

We are remote first and globally distributed, with English as our primary language for communication. We are looking for self-starters who are excited about working in a fast-paced startup environment. We do not require contributors to live in specific time zones, but much of the team lives and works in the European and US time zones. Contributors should endeavor to make themselves available as needed for scheduled team and company events.

You’ll get to:

  • Dive deep into the needs of Blockchain ecosystem participants, including but not limited to application developers, application end users, and infrastructure providers

Areas of Responsibility

  • Discover, evaluate and represent the needs of our ecosystem constituents, from application developers to end users
  • Understand the competitive landscape and influence how we can uniquely position itself within that landscape
  • Establish, align the company around, and drive execution of the edge and ecosystem product roadmap
  • Make build / buy / partner decisions to drive the growth of our ecosystem
  • Own the success of our greater ecosystem enablement and product strategy
  • Work tightly with leadership, growth, engineering and core teams to achieve the above objectives
  • Drive user and product oriented thinking throughout the organization
  • Build organizational processes and muscle to achieve the above objectives in a sustainable way

Requirements

+10 years of Engineering background/experience across product and engineering

Previously a Director of Product or higher at a smaller web3 organization/Success as a Group Product Manager or higher at a larger web3 organization

Experience with shipping developer-facing products, including specific roles and contributions in the development and launch process

Exp coaching and mentoring product managers/overseeing their work directly

Hands-on experience in integrating external libraries/packages or working with mission-critical integrations as a developer, detailing the scope of involvement and impact on the project
